Kathy Smith

With a background in tax preparation dating back to 2017 and a three-decade career with the City of Akron, Kathy uses her ability to seamlessly adapt to new challenges to ensure the smooth operation of Way Street Financial. Kathy’s methodical approach to asking the right questions and conducting thorough research has been instrumental in her success, and her clients and peers consistently rely on this expertise.

Among Kathy’s accomplishments are three degrees from the University of Akron, ranging from technical education to office services and executive support.

Outside the office, Kathy enjoys spending time with her church community, walking, helping others and exploring the world through cruises. Kathy is also a proud mother to her 26-year-old daughter, Valynn, and a dedicated pet parent to her cat, Tuski.
